Materials Manager I

About the role

Regal Rexnord is hiring a Materials Manager I in Piedras Negras. The role ensures the proper supply of raw materials to cover the CTB production line, maintains correct inventory levels and leads a team focused on continuous improvement, supplier management and standard work.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure proper supply of raw material to cover the CTB and execute the production plan
• Develop and follow up inventory level strategies and keep raw material inventory aligned with goals
• Ensure engineering changes are executed properly to avoid obsolete material
• Ensure proper service in the MRO area and provide savings, and deliver proper services with indirect suppliers
• Lead the team to develop standard work and documentation for all positions
• Follow up critical suppliers with sourcing and establish routines and standards
• Lead continuous improvement and problem-solving activities
• Ensure proper training for the planning team, run 1:1s and follow up the escalation process
• Meet applicable requirements to accomplish ISO 9001
• Follow the plant's health and safety policies and procedures, and ensure company values are present in the team
