Elementary Head Teacher

About the role

We are seeking an Elementary Head Teacher to lead and teach History, Geography, Science and Language Arts to our elementary students at International Schools in Querétaro. The role involves planning lessons, assessing students, collaborating with grade teachers, and ensuring the wellbeing and safety of each child.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and assess History, Geography, Science and Language Arts.
• Create weekly lesson plans in collaboration with other grade teachers.
• Provide close and timely social and academic follow‑up for each student.
• Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians.
• Perform active guard duties when assigned.
• Create original digital materials to present subject content.
• Promote the physical and emotional well‑being of every student in the classroom.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy, Education, Language Teaching or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of full‑time classroom teaching experience with children.
• English proficiency at B2 or C1 level.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection principles.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Office tools.
• Basic knowledge of GSuite for Education.
