About the role

Peterson School is seeking an enthusiastic Elementary Math Teacher to join its Cuajimalpa campus. The successful candidate will deliver a dynamic, understanding-focused mathematics curriculum to primary-level students and help foster a love for learning.

Key responsibilities

• Teach the mathematics curriculum using innovative, deep-understanding approaches in a fun classroom environment.
• Design and deliver lesson plans that inspire curiosity and engagement.
• Guide students through challenging concepts, using creativity to simplify abstract ideas.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create interdisciplinary activities that link math with other subjects.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or a related field.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience with elementary-school students.
• Strong organizational abilities and clear communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and communicate effectively with parents.
• Flexible, tolerant attitude toward diverse learning needs and a collaborative team spirit.
