Elementary School Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an organized, proactive, and service‑oriented Elementary School Assistant to support daily operations at Picacho McGregor School, part of the Inspired Education Group.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Elementary School Director and team, managing calendars, appointments and communications.
• Respond to parent inquiries promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate physical and digital student records, including admissions documentation.
• Update information on school communication platforms, schedules and official communications.
• Prepare and distribute documents, reports and meeting materials for families and staff.
• Coordinate logistics for school events, handling suppliers, materials, payments and follow‑up.
• Assist with student arrival, dismissal and recreational activities to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teachers, psychopedagogy, reception, operations and administration while maintaining confidentiality.

Required profile

• High School diploma (required); Bachelor’s degree in Administration or related field (desirable).
• At least 1 year of experience in an administrative assistant or similar support role.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Proactive, reliable, discreet and collaborative work approach.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential records.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace/Google Drive.
• Ability to learn and use school management platforms.
