Employee Communications Lead

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and creative Employee Communications Lead to design and execute internal communication programs that engage, inform and inspire employees across Hitachi Vantara. The role will translate corporate strategy into clear messaging and ensure employees receive the right information at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of Internal Communications and senior leaders to develop and evolve internal communications strategy.
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable communication plans, timelines and deliverables.
• Create compelling content for email, intranet, newsletters, videos and other internal channels.
• Manage and optimise communication channels, leveraging digital platforms and AI‑enabled tools.
• Monitor performance metrics and continuously improve communication effectiveness.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives that strengthen connection, recognition and inclusion.
• Act as the execution backbone for internal communications, ensuring consistent, high‑quality delivery.
• Own and evolve internal communications tools, processes and governance to reduce fragmentation.

Required profile

• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business priorities into communication plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex business updates.
• Collaborative mindset to work with leadership, HR, functional communications and cross‑functional teams.
• Data‑driven approach to monitor channel performance and adjust tactics.
• Experience in internal communications, employee engagement or related fields.
