Engineering Lab Technician

About the role

As part of the global industrial organization Marmon Holdings, backed by Berkshire Hathaway, the Engineering Lab Technician will support laboratory and manufacturing operations in Mexico. Working under broad supervision, you will ensure that analytical equipment and instrumentation are maintained, calibrated, and ready for production.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, test, troubleshoot, calibrate and repair a variety of circuits, components, and analytical equipment.
• Specify and request purchase of required components and spare parts.
• Develop test specifications and electrical schematics as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs, documentation, and spare‑parts inventory.
• Prepare technical reports with recommendations to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in laboratory or manufacturing equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work under broad supervision and follow established procedures.
• Strong analytical mindset for interpreting test results.
