EP Designer Engineering

About the role

As an EP Designer Engineer you will work closely with the sales team to create customized engineering solutions for our customers in the filtration industry. You will travel to customer sites, gather specifications, and develop designs that meet international building codes and our quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to provide tailored solutions that address customer challenges and generate new sales opportunities.
• Revise, design, and report on industrial structures according to site specifications and international building codes.
• Visit customer locations to capture dimensions, photographs, and technical requirements for solution design.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering documents (sales drawings, cost sheets, approval, manufacturing, shipping, lifting drawings, manuals).
• Conduct manufacturing inspections following customer quality requirements and Freudenberg’s QMS.
• Manage RFQs, conduct site visits with contractors, and supervise installation works.
• Improve existing equipment designs to reduce manufacturing time and optimise cost without compromising quality.
• Identify, evaluate, and select new suppliers for components, manufacturing, and installation.
• Enhance contractor RFQs, installation reports, and planning supervision.
• Organise and archive all project information in EP folders (quality documents, dossiers, cost sheets, drawings, supplier quotes, etc.).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in industrial structure design and documentation.
• Ability to work on‑site with customers and contractors.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
