Expansion Manager (Caribbean)

About the role

We are a leading international hospitality group seeking an Expansion Manager for the Caribbean region. The role will drive the launch and growth of a new hotel management and franchise business line, building strategic relationships with owners, investors and developers across key Caribbean markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate hotel expansion opportunities throughout the Caribbean.
• Develop and maintain relationships with hotel owners, investors, family offices, hotel groups, developers and specialised real‑estate consultants.
• Assess commercial, financial and strategic feasibility of new projects.
• Lead the full transaction process from sourcing to deal execution, including negotiation of management and franchise agreements with international brands.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover growth opportunities.
• Coordinate due‑diligence activities with internal teams and external advisors.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Legal, Technical Services and Commercial teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade fairs and hospitality investment forums.
• Prepare progress reports and presentations for senior management.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Economics, Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Proven experience in hotel expansion, development, investment or asset management within the hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of Caribbean and/or Latin American hotel markets.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate with hotel owners, groups, investment funds, family offices and developers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Current residence in the Caribbean or the Americas, or willingness to relocate.
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the Caribbean and the Americas.
