Field Services Technician

About the role

The Field Services Technician is a hands‑on, physical‑layer IT professional responsible for deploying, maintaining, and managing hardware across global offices and remote workforces. You will work directly with end‑users to ensure devices are ready, functional, and compliant with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Image, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile phones according to standard build specifications.
• Perform hardware upgrades, component replacements, and scheduled device refreshes.
• Provide deskside support for issues that cannot be resolved remotely, including hardware diagnostics and warranty coordination.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot conference‑room AV equipment, displays, and video‑conferencing systems.
• Manage printer infrastructure, including installation, consumables, and basic troubleshooting.
• Assist with basic network drops, cable management, and physical infrastructure tasks alongside the Network Engineering team.
• Maintain accurate asset records in the CMDB, handle asset tagging, and manage inventory levels.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and secure packaging of hardware for remote employees, tracking shipments and handling logistics issues.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with hardware deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with AV and conference‑room technology.
• Ability to work onsite and provide deskside support.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory and asset management.
