Financial Analyst – FP&A (Wind Power)

About the role

This position, based in Mexico, supports the Siemens Energy Wind Power Onshore business in North America. The Financial Analyst will provide financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Heavy Lifts and Major Projects, ensuring business continuity and performance measurement.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze internal financial data (P&L, working capital, costs, revenues) and prepare regular and ad‑hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations for management.
• Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, and monitor key performance indicators for the North America Onshore Wind Power business.
• Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, develop financial models, and assess the impact of external economic factors such as exchange rates and inflation.
• Assist in long‑term strategic financial planning for the business unit.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in SAP reporting systems and collaborate with finance and operational teams to maintain consistent data across reports.
• Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting and analysis, and maintain documentation of methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of professional experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), controlling, or a similar corporate finance function.
• Fluency in English.
