Financial Controller – Manufacturing Plant

About the role

TE Connectivity is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function of its manufacturing plant. You will act as a key business partner to the Plant Manager, driving financial planning, reporting and performance improvement across the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecasting and reporting for the plant.
• Partner with plant leadership to provide financial analysis, challenge assumptions and influence strategic decisions.
• Perform standard costing, variance analysis and margin management for materials, labour, overheads and subcontracting.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives, improve labour productivity and optimise working capital.
• Support capital investment decisions, prepare cost‑benefit justifications and monitor project returns.
• Maintain standard costs, drive the annual re‑costing process and collaborate with supply‑chain on inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements and corporate accounting policies.
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team, building capability and career growth.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
• 5–10 years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis and cost accounting.
• Proven ability in financial forecasting, modelling and performance analysis.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, procurement and supply‑chain drivers.
• Experience leading finance teams.
