Freight Business Development Representative

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Freight Business Development Representative to generate pipeline and early‑stage opportunities for a U.S. logistics and supply‑chain solutions provider. The role is fully remote for candidates located in LATAM and focuses on outbound outreach, prospect qualification, and setting up discovery conversations with senior decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑volume outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, phone, and other channels targeting supply‑chain and logistics decision‑makers.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads, uncover pain points, and articulate the value of tech‑driven freight visibility solutions.
• Schedule qualified meetings and demos for senior sales or leadership teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized pipeline in the CRM, tracking activities and next steps.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to refine messaging, ideal‑customer‑profile targeting, and outreach sequences.
• Provide feedback from prospect interactions to support campaign and content alignment.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to inform outreach strategy.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales development, or outbound BDR roles with a proven quota‑attainment record.
• Direct experience selling to or working with U.S.-based companies.
• Solid understanding of the supply‑chain industry, especially freight forwarding.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1+), both spoken and written.
• Ability to work full‑time aligned with U.S. EST business hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.
