French Teacher (Secondary) – Bilingual School

About the role

The Kipling School, part of Nord Anglia Education, seeks a dedicated French Teacher to join its secondary team. You will support students in a trilingual environment, helping them achieve strong French language proficiency and cultural awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging French lessons aligned with the school curriculum and international standards.
• Develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills at the secondary level.
• Create an inclusive, culturally rich classroom atmosphere.
• Assess progress using diverse evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and performance.
• Prepare students for internal and external French assessments.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and the trilingual model.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress.
• Participate in school events, meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, French, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
• Advanced French proficiency (minimum B2 CEFR) with DELF or equivalent certification.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in primary or secondary bilingual settings.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
