Front-End Developer

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking a Front‑End Developer to transform visual and interactive designs into functional web and mobile applications. You will work on WordPress‑based projects, creating responsive user interfaces that meet client requirements and enhance user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop application user interfaces using CSS3, HTML5, PHP, JavaScript and related frameworks.
• Create and iterate prototypes with responsive design techniques.
• Write hands‑on code for UI components employing AJAX, JSON, jQuery, Dojo and various APIs.
• Implement responsive and accessible designs across multiple devices and screen sizes.

Required profile

• Strong background in front‑end development with extensive WordPress experience.
• Proficiency in Gutenberg editor and custom block development.
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and PHP.
• Familiarity with React, Tailwind CSS and animation tools such as Motion.dev.
• Deep understanding of responsive and accessible web design.
• Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and custom WordPress configurations.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Ability to support junior team members, estimate work and manage timelines.
