Frontend Developer – SAP UI5 / Fiori Elements

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer specialized in SAP UI5 and Fiori Elements to join a global SAP BTP implementation for a leading consumer‑goods organization. You will design and build modern SAP Fiori applications that run in SAP Build Work Zone, working closely with backend developers, QA engineers and code reviewers in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop SAP Fiori Elements applications such as List Report Object Page, Analytical List Page, Overview Page and Worklist apps.
• Create freestyle SAP UI5 applications, custom controls, fragments, views and controllers when standard Fiori does not meet business needs.
• Implement routing, navigation, responsive layouts, internationalisation (i18n), RTL support and Horizon theme standards.
• Consume OData V4/V2 services, optimise data binding, batch processing and draft‑enabled scenarios.
• Write and maintain OPA5 integration tests, QUnit unit tests and wdi5 end‑to‑end tests; perform accessibility validation with axe‑core.
• Build and deploy using MTA, mbt and Cloud Foundry; conduct smoke testing in SAP Launchpad and SAP Build Work Zone.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, contribute to effort estimation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP UI5, SAP Fiori Elements and SAP BTP.
• Proven ability to deliver annotation‑driven and custom Fiori applications with responsive UI, navigation and accessibility compliance.
• Solid experience integrating OData services and defining frontend‑backend contracts.
• Familiarity with Cloud Foundry deployment models and SAP security concepts.
