Full Stack Engineer – Engineering & Quality

About the role

Fitch Group is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join its Engineering & Quality team in Monterrey. You will help design, build, and maintain the core data repository and ratings platform that powers critical business operations across Fitch Ratings.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, high‑performance full‑stack applications.
• Build intuitive, responsive UI components using React and TypeScript.
• Develop robust backend services with Java/Spring Boot or Python APIs.
• Create and integrate APIs and data services that interact with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and data/engineering teams to deliver business‑aligned solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and enforce best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on reliability and data integrity.
• Experience working closely with stakeholders such as Ratings, Business, and Operations teams.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, innovative environment that embraces AI/ML enhancements.
