General Manager – Disposables Business Sector

About the role

A leading commercial and distribution company with over three decades of presence in Northern Mexico is seeking a General Manager for its Disposables Business Sector. The role involves providing overall leadership, driving strategic growth, and overseeing all functional areas of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, Administration, Credit & Collections, and IT departments.
• Ensure achievement of commercial and financial objectives.
• Monitor key performance indicators and overall profitability.
• Develop and execute growth and expansion strategies.
• Oversee inventory management, procurement, and distribution operations.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners.
• Lead multidisciplinary management teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, International Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• 6–8 years of experience as a General Manager or equivalent executive role.
• Proven experience in trading, distribution, wholesale, or consumer‑goods companies.
• Strong background managing high‑volume operations with extensive SKU portfolios.
• Experience leading commercial, procurement, logistics, and administrative functions.
• Minimum tenure of 3 years per previous employer preferred.
• Willingness to relocate and reside in Tijuana, Baja California.
