About the role

The Sr. Manager, Data Science, Digital Manufacturing will lead a team of data scientists to transform production line data, sensor feeds, and quality systems into actionable AI solutions. This hands‑on position combines technical contribution with leadership to drive manufacturing efficiency, cost reduction, and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise‑scale data science, predictive modeling, and AI projects for process optimization, predictive maintenance, defect detection, and utilities management.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from data acquisition and model development to deployment and monitoring in cloud environments.
• Mentor and grow a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration across locations and stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into technical AI workflows and communicate insights in clear, non‑technical language.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience delivering enterprise‑level data science solutions.
• Strong leadership and team‑building skills with a track record of mentoring technical teams.
• Excellent communication, storytelling with data, and ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is preferred.

• Python (expert level)
• Cloud ML platforms such as Databricks and AWS SageMaker
• Machine learning and generative AI frameworks
• Deployment of ML/AI applications on AWS or Databricks
• Database systems, data structures, and data processing techniques
• Familiarity with OPC‑UA, MQTT, and industrial automation protocols
