Global Supply Chain Analyst

About the role

Under minimal supervision, the Global Supply Chain Analyst supports the Global Business Unit in materials and logistics management across worldwide workcells. The role develops and maintains material and logistics plans that influence production, distribution, and inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure consistency in the global demand‑planning process and implement inventory models.
• Coordinate the quarterly pricing process (PP1, PP2, PP3, Sourcing).
• Implement supply‑chain strategies such as EDI, JIT, consignment, 3rd‑party logistics, and global sourcing.
• Maintain continuity of supply for product transfers and monitor site metrics (Days of Supply, material prices, excess inventory mitigation).
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts on material systems including SAP, Webplan, DR, and PLS.
• Generate and analyze data related to material functions, produce clear reports, and communicate findings to cross‑functional teams.
• Adhere to safety, health, and security policies.

Required profile

• Ability to calculate discounts, interest, percentages, and other quantitative figures.
• Capability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Strong problem‑definition, data‑collection, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Windows‑based PCs and related software.
• Advanced PC skills and familiarity with Jabil’s internal software packages.
• Effective written communication for simple correspondence and documentation.
