Global Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

The Global Supply Chain Specialist will support the procurement function by placing purchase orders, managing material flows and ensuring that outsourced and purchased products are delivered on time, with the required quality and cost. The role also drives corrective actions, inventory management and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Place purchase orders according to purchase requests for assigned commodities.
• Manage material flows to guarantee timely, quality‑focused delivery of outsourced and purchased products.
• Launch first‑level corrective and preventive actions when delivery issues arise.
• Oversee inventory and order management in coordination with suppliers.
• Act as the focal point for consolidating data related to main suppliers.
• Develop and support cross‑functional teams to improve supply chain processes.
• Understand and guide teams through change initiatives and new ways of working.
• Identify potential compliance risks and act with integrity to protect company reputation.

Required profile

• Professional experience in supply chain, procurement, or inventory management.
• Strong understanding of supplier management and material flow coordination.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and lead change initiatives.
• Awareness of compliance requirements and commitment to ethical conduct.
