Group Manager - MRO Commodity

About the role

Reporting to the Procurement Director, you will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) categories across our manufacturing sites. The role combines strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and team leadership to drive cost reduction and supply reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement cross‑functional sourcing strategies for MRO purchases and manage the full procurement lifecycle from RFP/RFQ to contract award and invoicing.
• Negotiate complex agreements, maintain supplier scorecards, mitigate risks and resolve issues related to capacity, cost and quality.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Commodity Analysts, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Conduct market research, cost‑break‑down analysis and spend analytics to support negotiations and identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of sourcing or procurement experience, preferably with indirect spend categories such as maintenance, repair and operations.
• Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders and manage supplier relationships in a global environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically or internationally.
