Head of Quality Plant

About the role

The Head of Quality Plant will lead a quality‑driven culture and act as the primary voice of the customer within the plant. You will inspire all employees to own quality, ensure compliance with OEM requirements and international standards, and partner with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain to achieve zero‑defect performance.

Key responsibilities

• Model and champion a quality‑first mindset across the plant.
• Serve as the main customer advocate, translating requirements into plant actions.
• Lead and develop plant quality teams, holding them accountable for agreed KPIs.
• Define, implement and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) for the site.
• Guarantee product and process excellence while complying with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and other OEM standards.
• Collaborate strategically with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain to drive data‑driven quality improvements.
• Promote a zero‑defect culture, high customer satisfaction and operational performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• 10+ years of automotive industry experience in senior leadership (Head/Manager) roles.
• Proven multi‑site management experience within Tier‑1 OEM environments.
• Extensive audit and manufacturing project background.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, 8D, A3, KPI and data analysis.
• Demonstrated quality leadership, customer orientation and change‑management capabilities.
