Hotel Director (Luxury Operations)

About the role

The Hotel Director leads the overall operation of a luxury hotel, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and maintaining the highest service standards. This senior position requires strategic vision, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of multi‑outlet hospitality environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership across all hotel departments.
• Oversee guest satisfaction, ensuring a welcoming and efficient service experience.
• Implement and uphold Forbes 5‑star standards, preparing the property for potential inspections.
• Conduct daily inspirational morning meetings and mentor department heads.
• Identify training needs, support talent development, and attend relevant meetings and courses.
• Participate in weekly public health inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Distribute NPS scores, financial data, Voyage Report and Deep Dive Analysis to stakeholders after each voyage.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of professional experience in luxury hotel operations, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Experience in cruise line operations is a plus, as is background in other service‑driven industries.
• Fluent English (verbal and written); additional language skills are an asset.
