HR Generalist (Monterrey)

About the role

Kerma Games is seeking a proactive HR Generalist to build and own the HR function for its fast‑growing operations in Monterrey, Mexico. You will work closely with local and international teams to create compliant processes, support employee experience, and enable the company’s rapid scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and enforce HR policies, handbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Oversee payroll, benefits administration, time‑off policies, and ensure compliance with Mexican labor law (LFT) and local regulations.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding, equipment provisioning, and HRIS upkeep using tools such as Gusto and Deel.
• Develop performance management cycles (90‑day, 6‑month, annual reviews) and implement professional development programs.
• Lead employee relations initiatives, conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
• Build engagement programs, company‑wide communication frameworks, and all‑hands processes.
• Implement and maintain HR systems, ensure data integrity, and produce headcount analytics and reporting dashboards.
• Partner with local and international leaders to support team growth, organizational changes, and scaling efforts in Mexico.

Required profile

• Hands‑on HR experience in a high‑growth, international environment.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law and ability to ensure local compliance.
• Proven ability to design and implement HR processes from scratch.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on fostering an inclusive culture.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
