Human Resources Coordinator

About the role

The Human Resources Coordinator acts as the first point of contact for offshore personnel on designated rigs, providing essential support to the Offshore Installation Manager and Rig Manager on logistics, personnel movements, and HR matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly reports on offshore workforce and headcount.
• Verify invoices related to manpower.
• Maintain accurate personnel files in paper form and HRIS.
• Support the OIM and Rig Manager with new hires, promotions, demotions and transfers.
• Assist offshore supervisors with disciplinary and grievance processes, including attendance at hearings.
• Process leave requests and answer general HR queries from offshore staff.
• Communicate HR policies, update BMS as needed, and conduct HR inductions for new personnel.
• Provide on‑call HR coverage and support the Emergency Response Team when required.
• Participate in recruitment events and conduct periodic offshore/shipyard visits.
• Manage crew rota, travel arrangements, and ensure timely crew‑change paperwork submission.
• Ensure the rig remains fully crewed according to Standard Manning.
• Liaise with national and international manpower agencies for ad‑hoc staffing.
• Administer payroll and benefits for national and international offshore crews.
• Verify qualifications and documentation for new and ad‑hoc personnel.
• Renew mandatory certifications and offshore medicals per the training matrix.
• Handle visa applications and related regional requirements.
• Arrange meet‑and‑greet services and hotel bookings for crew changes.
• Undertake personal professional development and support additional HR generalist tasks as directed.
