Implementation Specialist – Payments Processing

About the role

The Implementation Specialist will act as the primary liaison for Mastercard customers during end‑to‑end processing implementation projects. You will assess customer needs, advise on technical integration, and ensure implementations meet Mastercard’s global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of contact for customers throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Document customer requirements and evaluate impacts on Mastercard’s core and non‑core processing platforms.
• Provide technical guidance to customer processing teams and oversee execution of implementation activities.
• Define scope, plan, and drive implementation projects using Mastercard’s global methodology.
• Validate that processing interfaces comply with Mastercard product rules and specifications.
• Conduct comprehensive end‑to‑end impact analyses for multiple projects in parallel.
• Execute standard and non‑standard testing processes focused on technical processing interfaces.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to teach and support customers.
• Proven ability to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Project management experience and ability to handle fast‑changing, ambiguous environments.
