Implementation Specialist – Payments Projects

About the role

As an Implementation Specialist you will support the end‑to‑end delivery of electronic payments processing projects for Mastercard customers. You will work closely with high‑level business leaders to define KPIs, build roadmaps and ensure successful implementation of processing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute project delivery for processing implementation initiatives from start to finish.
• Assess and document customer requirements and translate them into implementation activities.
• Apply Mastercard’s global project coordination methodology to drive project execution.
• Guide customers through Mastercard processing rules, specifications and documentation.
• Identify and obtain required implementation support documents (contracts, agreements, forms, etc.).
• Manage multiple customer implementation projects in parallel while providing regular status reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1‑3 years of IT system knowledge with a basic understanding of network technology, applications and project management.
• Familiarity with payment transaction processing and industry business principles.
• Understanding of Mastercard payment processing systems, formats and host‑interface testing.
