About the role

The Quality Engineer will support Volvo Buses in delivering safe, sustainable, and high‑quality transport solutions. You will work within a collaborative environment, applying continuous‑improvement methods to ensure product excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Observe and enforce safety, environmental, and labor standards.
• Participate in Lean@Buses continuous‑improvement projects to optimise resources and generate business benefits.
• Ensure process owners and auditors comply with the quality management system.
• Update quality‑related instructions and procedures according to system guidelines.
• Provide technical after‑sales support, resolve field‑reported issues, and implement systematic corrective actions.
• Implement quality strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Plan, develop, and improve the use of the FIORI system.
• Monitor production processes to guarantee quality activities are performed at each stage.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing and quality within the automotive industry.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Lean methodology (Lean@Buses).
• FIORI system usage and development.
• Quality assurance procedures and documentation.
