In‑House Logistics Coordinator (Automotive Plant)

About the role

We are seeking an In‑House Logistics Coordinator to manage daily transportation and logistics activities inside a client’s automotive manufacturing plant. The role involves close collaboration with plant personnel, drivers, and internal logistics teams to guarantee on‑time pickups, deliveries, and swift issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the on‑site logistics liaison between the plant and internal operations teams.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely movement of materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate directly with drivers, warehouse staff, and dispatch to resolve real‑time transportation issues.
• Track shipment status, manage exceptions, and communicate delays or discrepancies proactively.
• Support logistics processes such as documentation, load planning, and adherence to customer‑specific instructions.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, non‑conformities, and carrier performance records.
• Ensure compliance with client protocols, plant safety rules, and transportation regulations.
• Identify and propose process improvements within plant logistics operations.

Required profile

• Advanced English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations; automotive industry experience is a strong asset.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Flexibility to work on‑site with occasional schedule adjustments.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or plant‑based logistics software.
