Integrated Solutions Well Engineer – Completions/Workover

About the role

The Integrated Solutions Well Engineer will deliver end‑to‑end well engineering support for completions, workover and intervention projects. Working within Baker Hughes’ global Integrated Solutions organization, you will ensure safe, efficient and cost‑effective execution of complex well projects from concept through to close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare well designs, technical requirements and operational plans for completions, workover and intervention activities.
• Support tendering phases with engineering input and collaborate with commercial and procurement teams.
• Develop detailed well programs, procedures and cost estimates, and build project schedules and risk registers.
• Utilise the VCDSE digital platform to support design, planning and data management.
• Monitor daily operational progress, track expenditure and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders through technical presentations and operational updates.
• Track KPIs, benchmark performance and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation such as End‑of‑Well reports and lessons‑learned, and support root‑cause analysis investigations.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical or related) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in well engineering, specifically completions, workover or intervention.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, HSE standards and integrated project execution.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on safety and cost optimisation.
