Internal Audit

About the role

The Internal Auditor leads and performs internal audits, conducts continuous monitoring reviews, and may support project implementations. The role assists in evaluating the company’s risk areas and provides management with independent, timely recommendations to address control deficiencies and improve operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute SOX Section 404 controls testing for assigned areas and confirm exceptions with management.
• Lead internal audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Monitor ongoing projects and assess their alignment with internal control standards.
• Identify significant control issues and emerging risk exposures.
• Prepare clear audit reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of internal control concepts and ability to recognize significant issues.
• Experience assessing control effectiveness and SOX 404 compliance.
• Knowledge of internal audit standards and GAAP accounting principles.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, active listening, and presentation skills.
• Negotiation and problem‑resolution capabilities.
• Team player who can build relationships across all organizational levels.
• Professional integrity, objectivity, and composure under pressure.
