IT Infrastructure Server Administrator

About the role

The client is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Server Administrator to join their on‑site team in Tijuana, Mexico. You will be responsible for managing Windows and Linux server environments, supporting SAP Business One infrastructure, and driving cloud migration initiatives to Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, and tune Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) systems.
• Maintain and support SAP Business One infrastructure, including OS, database hosting, and performance monitoring.
• Execute migration projects from on‑premises to Azure, provisioning VMs, storage, networking, and backup resources.
• Manage Azure IaaS resources, perform lifecycle upgrades, and ensure system health through monitoring tools.
• Administer Active Directory/Entra ID, identity services, and access controls.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high‑availability solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues across compute, storage, OS, and application layers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams on incidents and projects.
• Support automation using PowerShell, Bash, and Azure CLI.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and incident response.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server (AD, DNS, Group Policy, patching).
• Proficiency in Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu or similar).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS services.
• Background supporting SAP Business One infrastructure.
• Bi‑lingual in English and Spanish.
