IT Specialist – Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)

About the role

The IT Specialist (GRC) will support Solera’s Information Security and Customer Relationship teams in Mexico. Working within a multicultural, global GRC program, you will ensure that customer security requests are addressed promptly and that audit evidence is collected efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT, Data Privacy and other stakeholders to respond to customer security inquiries.
• Track and follow‑up on security requests to guarantee timely resolution.
• Coordinate evidence collection for customer security audits.
• Maintain and expand a knowledge base of security controls across Solera’s products and entities.
• Monitor security risks identified in customer assessments and report status.
• Prepare regular reports on the customer relationship process and suggest improvements.
• Develop familiarity with ISO, SOC2, NIST and related governance frameworks.

Required profile

• University degree (BS/MS) in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple requests under tight deadlines.
• Team‑oriented mindset with experience working across locations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of information security standards such as SOC1, SOC2, ISO 27001 and NIST 800‑XX.
• Experience with IT/Security audits (desired).
• Familiarity with GRC management tools (desired).
