IT Support Engineer Specialist

About the role

The IT Support Engineer Specialist will be the primary point of contact for all technology needs at our León office. You will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support, resolve hardware, software, and network issues, and ensure smooth daily operations for all users.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, peripherals, and network devices such as routers and switches.
• Monitor systems and network infrastructure, proactively identifying and fixing potential problems.
• Respond to service requests and incidents within defined SLAs.
• Provide technical assistance to end‑users across all business units, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and inventory of IT assets.
• Diagnose and resolve LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, and VPN connectivity problems.
• Escalate Level 3 issues to the appropriate teams with detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and contribute to knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• Intermediate English (B2) and strong communication skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in an IT support role with a focus on networking.

Required skills

• Networking concepts and protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
• Configuration and management of routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.

What we offer

• Salary of 24,500 MXN per month.
