About the role

Infosys is looking for a hands‑on Software Development Engineer in Test to design and implement automated testing solutions for web applications. The role combines strong Java development skills with deep expertise in test automation, ensuring high‑quality delivery across the technology stack.

Key responsibilities

Translate functional requirements into application code and automated test scripts.
Design, develop and maintain Java‑based test frameworks using Spring, JUnit and Mockito.
Create and execute API tests (REST & SOAP) using tools such as Postman.
Implement end‑to‑end automation covering unit, functional, integration and regression testing.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment and support DevOps practices.

Required profile

Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development and test automation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams.
