About the role
The Field Support Engineer provides hands‑on assistance for data‑centre infrastructure and end‑user equipment in Mexico City. The role covers compute, storage, backup, network devices and desktop peripherals, ensuring reliable operation and rapid issue resolution.
Key responsibilities
- Perform hands‑and‑feet support for servers, storage systems, network devices and backup equipment, including reboot, console access and cable management.
- Install, configure and maintain desktop computers, printers, scanners and other peripherals according to established standards.
- Execute IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services for IT assets and support mobile phones and non‑PC equipment.
- Provide L1 network troubleshooting for LAN connectivity and assist backend teams with server and application issues.
- Label racks, mount or relocate servers, and install shared printers and audio‑visual equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve technical problems and manage procurement and inventory of IT assets.
- Document incidents, problems and resolutions in the knowledge base and adhere to defined Service Level Agreements.

- Strong communication skills for interacting with users and vendors.
- Ability to follow and meet SLA commitments consistently.
