Java Production Support Engineer

About the role
The Java Production Support Engineer will ensure the stability, performance, and health of Java‑based production applications. You will act as the first line of defense for incidents, providing rapid resolution and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Support and troubleshoot Java production applications.
- Handle incidents, perform root‑cause analysis (RCA), and resolve issues.
- Monitor application performance and overall system health.
- Collaborate with database teams, integration partners, and other support groups.
- Maintain SLA compliance and participate in release and deployment activities.
Required profile
- 3–7+ years of experience in Java application support.
- Strong client‑facing communication and stakeholder management.
- Proven ability to work on‑call and manage production incidents.
Required skills
- Core Java (OOP, Collections, Multithreading).
- SQL (queries, joins, stored procedures).
- Unix/Linux environments.
- Production support / incident management.
- Debugging, log analysis, and RCA.
- JIRA and ServiceNow.
- REST APIs.
