Junior Accountant – Global Business Services

About the role

Clorox is looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join its Global Business Services (GBS) team supporting U.S. operations. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work with a leading consumer‑goods company while developing core accounting skills in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and transaction processing.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders across the U.S.
• Assist with audits and provide required documentation.
• Participate in process‑improvement initiatives within GBS.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (formulas, data handling).
• Familiarity with ERP systems – SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
