Professional Services Bookings Analyst
blackline · Mexico City
Job description
About the role
The Professional Services Bookings Analyst is a key member of the Professional Services Solutions (PSS) organization, focused on the accuracy and integrity of services bookings. The role maintains opportunity hygiene by reviewing Statements of Work (SOWs) and order forms, processes change requests and supports the team with reporting and ad-hoc analysis. It suits a detail-oriented, analytical person who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain Salesforce data integrity for services opportunities, checking alignment with order forms and SOWs (pricing, scope, terms) and flagging discrepancies to the PSS team.
- Process closed opportunities so the CRM reflects the signed contracts, and help process deal approvals through the workflow once leadership has made structure decisions.
- Support the enforcement of services bookings policies and approval workflows.
- Work with the Delivery team on change orders: create the opportunity, assist with approval routing, support order form generation and ensure system updates.
- Partner with the PS Back Office team on project creation and act as a contact for booking-related inquiries.
- Build regular reports on services bookings, pipeline and key performance indicators, and run ad-hoc analysis for Professional Services leadership.
- Assist with forecasting and pipeline analysis to give visibility into future bookings.
Required profile
- 2-4 years of experience in sales operations, financial analysis or professional services operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
- Experience in a B2B or enterprise software (SaaS) company, familiarity with PSA tools, Certinia, and prior review of SOWs or commercial contracts are a plus.
Required skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas).
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
BlackLine works a combination of virtual and in-person work; candidates living within a reasonable commute to an office work at least 3 days a week in the office. The company describes its culture as kind, open and accepting, with professional development seminars and affinity groups.
