Junior IT Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Junior IT Administrator to be the first point of contact for Tier 1 support in our Mexico office. You will handle daily operational tasks, resolve user tickets, and manage hardware, ensuring smooth internal services while escalating complex issues to senior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 helpdesk support: troubleshoot software, access, email and other user issues.
• Onboard new hires by configuring and deploying laptops, monitors and peripherals; offboard departing staff by recovering and wiping equipment.
• Maintain the local IT inventory, track assets and support meeting‑room technology.
• Diagnose and filter incidents, escalating unresolved problems to Senior IT Administrators (Tier 2/LATAM).

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in technical support, helpdesk or related IT roles.
• Intermediate‑advanced English communication skills.
• Service‑oriented, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn quickly.
• Ability to document processes clearly and follow operational guidelines.

Required skills

• Google Workspace administration
• Microsoft 365 administration
• Active Directory / Entra ID management
• Ticketing systems such as Jira Service Management, Zendesk or ServiceNow
• Hardware setup and maintenance for Windows and macOS devices
