Junior Lawyer – Legal & Compliance Support

About the role

Join Hitachi Energy as a Junior Lawyer and support legal and compliance activities across the business. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with legal standards, ethical practices, and corporate governance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on business‑related topics.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of compliance programs.
• Contribute to corporate governance processes and best practices.
• Provide legal guidance on business law, ethics, and integrity matters.
• Identify and mitigate potential conflicts of interest.
• Draft, review, and assist in the negotiation of contracts and legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve legal challenges.
• Stay updated on legislative and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Knowledge of business law and legal practices.
• Understanding of compliance programs and corporate governance principles.
• Ability to conduct legal research and provide practical advice.
• Familiarity with conflict‑of‑interest management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication in English and Spanish.
• Experience working under pressure and a sense of responsibility.
