Corporate Counsel – Latin America

About the role

Vistance Networks is seeking a qualified Corporate Counsel to support its operations across Latin America. The role can be based in Tijuana or other locations in Mexico, including Mexico City, and will report to the Managing Counsel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on commercial, compliance, employment, real estate, corporate secretarial, procurement and other matters across the region.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates, policies and procedures, and ensure they are communicated through training.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts such as purchase, services and licensing agreements.
• Advise business teams on risk, alternative solutions and contractual strategies.
• Support Human Resources on regional employment issues and manage outside counsel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Law Degree and qualified lawyer in Mexico with 5‑10 years post‑qualification experience.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Experience in law firms and in‑house legal departments.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and ethical conduct.
• Ability to work independently on competing priorities.
