Junior Mobile Engineer (Mexico)

About the role

Sezzle is looking for a motivated Junior Mobile Engineer to join its fast‑growing fintech team in Mexico. You will work on a cross‑platform React Native app and help shape the experience for millions of active users while collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship new features for the TypeScript React Native mobile app.
• Maintain and improve Golang backend APIs that power the mobile experience.
• Manage releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app‑store infrastructure to ensure safe rollouts.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to align on requirements and priorities.
• Write clean, scalable, testable code and continuously improve code quality.
• Monitor application performance, data domains, and key KPIs.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of professional mobile development experience.
• At least 6 months of hands‑on work with React Native or a similar cross‑platform framework (e.g., Flutter).
• Experience publishing mobile apps to Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend development with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
