Junior Plant Controller – GBS (Manufacturing Finance)

About the role

The Junior Plant Controller – GBS will join the Supply Chain Finance team at Kraft Heinz’s Global Capability Center in Mexico City. Reporting to the Plant Controller and indirectly to the Supply Chain Finance Lead, you will help translate plant performance into financial insights and support cost‑reduction initiatives across North‑American manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Plant Controller in managing financial results, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Support month‑end close activities in the SAP Catalyst system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform balance‑sheet account reconciliations.
• Contribute to cost forecasting and productivity pipeline analysis.
• Monitor plant KPIs, focusing on cost reduction and operational efficiency.
• Maintain financial standards, including financial Bills of Materials.
• Collaborate on process‑improvement projects using the Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS).
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of product costing and manufacturing operations.
• Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CGA) or MBA in Accounting/Finance is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, especially SAP (including SAP Catalyst) and Oracle.
• Experience with financial Bills of Materials and cost‑productivity analysis.
• Familiarity with Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS) for process improvement.
