Junior Python/Java Developer – AI Interest

About the role

Softtek is looking for a Junior Python/Java Developer with a strong interest in artificial intelligence to join its hybrid team in Mexico City. The role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to one year of experience who are eager to grow in a global technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Python and Java.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design micro‑services and cloud‑based solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.
• Support AI‑related projects and automation initiatives.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in software development or consulting.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong passion for coding, learning new technologies and building technical solutions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
