About the role

As a Key Account Manager at Givaudan, you will be responsible for growing and protecting our business with strategic customers in Mexico. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will manage a portfolio of accounts, drive revenue, and ensure profitability while collaborating across functions.

Key responsibilities

  • Increase revenue for designated accounts by managing both sales (top line) and profitability (bottom line).
  • Lead negotiations for pricing agreements, handling credit, pricing and rebates to maximise profitability.
  • Defend and protect Givaudan's base business, ensuring customer retention and identifying expansion opportunities.
  • Create, communicate and implement strategic Annual Development Plans, sales forecasts and budgets for key accounts.
  • Define and track clear Key Performance Indicators to guide decision‑making.
  • Oversee the quality and quantity of projects within the pipeline, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Develop relationships with main customer decision‑makers, positioning Givaudan as their preferred supplier.
  • Coordinate all Givaudan activities related to designated accounts, ensuring alignment across teams.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in managing key accounts and driving business growth.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage pricing agreements, credit and rebates.
  • Experience in profitability management and financial oversight of accounts.
  • Background in strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Ability to define, monitor and act on performance indicators.
  • Excellent relationship‑building skills with senior customer stakeholders.
  • Capability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and ensure agreement across departments.
