Key Account Manager – Public Safety Communications

About the role

We are looking for a Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead the commercial development of Airbus SLC’s public‑safety communication portfolio in Mexico. The KAM will be the primary point of contact for strategic customers such as IRIS and will drive the creation and execution of offers that expand Airbus’ installed base and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial approaches for IRIS evolution projects, including new‑generation solutions and service extensions.
• Defend and grow Airbus’ position in the IRIS ecosystem and the broader public‑safety market.
• Coordinate with the BID team, product lines and technical specialists to produce competitive offers.
• Identify and quantify new business concepts, supporting entry into complementary markets (defence, TUI, MNO, private sector).
• Act as the account owner and primary point of contact for strategic customers and ecosystem partners in Mexico.
• Clarify technical and commercial inquiries throughout the sales process with product management, engineering and marketing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a commercial or technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business management, new‑business development or launch of telecom/IoT/services solutions.
• Proven ability to develop business and sales strategies and to create competitive offers.
• Strong understanding of mission‑critical and business‑critical communication systems and their evolution.
