Key Account Manager – Strategic Commercial Role

About the role

We are looking for a Key Account Manager to develop, manage and grow strategic accounts in the sports apparel and footwear sector. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for aligning product, pricing, inventory and channel strategies to maximise sales, margin and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement commercial strategy per client, covering assortment, pricing, promotions and trade calendar.
• Maintain direct relationships with buyers and executives, negotiate shelf space, commercial terms and investment programmes such as markdowns, rebates and promotions.
• Develop client‑level forecasts, purchase and replenishment plans and coordinate with supply‑chain teams.
• Monitor key performance indicators including sell‑through, gross margin, GMROI, inventory days and forecast accuracy.
• Identify growth opportunities, expand category share and explore new channels such as omnichannel platforms and marketplaces.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the sports industry, specifically apparel and/or footwear.
• Proven track record in strategic account management, high‑level negotiation and financial analysis (P&L by customer).
• English proficiency at B2 level, valid passport and US visa for quarterly travel.
• Willingness to work from the Parque Toreo office and travel approximately one week per month.
• Immediate availability.
