Laravel Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Laravel Developer to join our small, growing engineering team. You will own the development of new features, fix bugs, and help evolve an established web application while working closely with the Engineering Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain features in a Laravel application using the TALL stack.
• Develop user interfaces with Livewire, Alpine.js, Tailwind CSS, and FilamentPHP.
• Investigate and resolve bugs across the existing codebase.
• Write clean, secure, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Review feature requests, clarify requirements, and propose technical solutions.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Lead and company leadership throughout the development process.
• Manage tasks and tickets in Jira and participate in Scrum planning and check‑ins.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Professional experience developing and maintaining Laravel/PHP applications.
• Ability to work independently, gather requirements, and define solutions.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Availability for at least 5‑6 hours overlap with Eastern Time.

• Compensation between $4,000 and $6,000 USD per month.
• Full‑time remote contractor position.
