LATAM Regional Payroll Lead

About the role

We are seeking a LATAM Regional Payroll Lead to oversee payroll operations across Latin America, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with business goals. The role involves managing vendor relationships, leading process improvements, and providing analytical insights to support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve payroll before processing, maintain earnings and deduction codes, and coordinate system testing and implementation.
• Translate business priorities and regulatory requirements into operational plans, tools, and infrastructure for regional payroll.
• Leverage payroll data to identify trends, conduct root‑cause analysis, and prepare internal and external reports.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and audit standards across the region and support audit inquiries.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, roles and responsibilities, and end‑to‑end payroll process documentation.
• Manage regional payroll vendor contracts, service calendars, performance reviews, and identify efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with local and global stakeholders to implement change initiatives and promote continuous improvement.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth, accurate, and compliant payroll operations.
